I wanted to create something that helps during these uncertain times without causing harm to others. Since we often touch our faces with our hands, it's crucial now more than ever to wash your hands frequently. However, we can't wash our hands every time we open a door and door handles can't be sanitized after each person. So I came up with the idea of a printed piece that lets you open doors without touching them. It turns out many people had similar ideas. I wanted to design something that has advantages over others: - only requires items most people have at home (no screws or nuts, just zip ties and rubber bands) - universally applicable on both inner and outer door sides and various types of handles - very fast to print and install - a single part is all you need - no supports are required - instructions on how to use are directly shown on the piece
