Universal Filament Spool Holder

All of my designs can now be found on www.youmagine.com, with updates appearing here. A remarkably smooth filament spool coaster with bearings has been designed to accommodate various sizes of spools. Despite the numerous thousands of online filament spool designs, this is the one that I have created and chosen to share because it allows for effortless spool switching, is extremely durable and robust, and straightforward to assemble. Instructions To put everything together, follow a press-fit assembly method, with the accompanying photos demonstrating how to align each part. Bill of Materials: Two 5/16" threaded rods measuring around four inches in length are required. Two metal or aluminum tubes with outer diameters of one inch and inner diameters of seven-eighths of an inch, approximately three and seven-eighths long, are also needed. Four 608 bearings must be used. The list also includes four 5/16" bolts as well as four silicone feet (optional). I personally acquired the bearings from a local skate shop while Metal Supermarkets was tasked with cutting the metal to specified lengths. It only takes minor edge smoothing of the metal components and some simple snapping to bring all parts together effectively.
