Universal filament holder with ball bearings
thingiverse
I design this low-friction filament holder because I wouldn't need to tighten a nut when switching spools, which I had to do on my old filament holder. In the second image, you see how to assemble the filament holder and a list of parts a bit further down in the text. Some specifications: Fast change Spools with a center hole of 34mm or larger Supports spools up to a width of 120mm Can be mounted on a wall Can be mounted under a shelf Necessary parts: Three 608 bearings 150 or 160mm 8M threaded rod Two 8M nuts Three 8M washers 3 or 4 screws
