Universal Figurine Wall Mount (Customizable)
thingiverse
This is a complete overhaul of the fantastic Amiibo Wall Mount created by Moddersunited. I took precise measurements and the overall aesthetic of his design to craft my own unique model. This project is fully customizable. I included versions for Nintendo Amiibo and Disney Infinity. Due to its parametric design and accompanying spreadsheet, you should be able to adapt this wall mount to any other figurine type with a round base. How to use: To secure your figures on the wall, inside your display case, or wherever you desire, I recommend using "tesa Powerstrips LARGE". These strips measure 20x50mm. Next, cut along the long side of the strip about 4mm to reduce its width to 16x50mm. Optional: If you don't need the adhesive grip on these strips, simply fold back the cover paper and snip off the handle. Now, remove one of the covers from the Powerstrip and apply the sticker to the universal figurine mount. Press it firmly against a table for a few seconds to secure the connection. When doing so, push only against the wall mount side and avoid pressing against the edges where no adhesive tape is applied, as this may damage the part. Instead, press from inside the ring against a flat surface. Finally, remove the second cover from the Powerstrip and attach the entire wall mount to your desired location. Make sure it's facing upwards or you'll encounter issues. As always, I've included the FreeCAD source file for editing purposes. Simply update the spreadsheet to tailor the look and size of your wall mount.
