The Universal End Insulator Proves Invaluable in Portable Operations. It serves multiple purposes, one of which I find particularly useful - providing support for a random wire and a counterpoise when I'm operating QRP portable. This convenient design winds up on itself, making storage effortless. Not interested in random wires? The Universal End Insulator is equally effective as an end insulator for your dipole. Once you're done, wind each leg onto one for rapid transport and storage. No trees available? No issue! I specifically designed this to fit snugly onto the second section from the top of a 10 meter telescoping mast (MFJ-1901). The top section is too thin to accommodate it securely.
