This tool lets you design and build nozzles or ducts for just about any round fan, air blower, vacuum cleaner, and more. You can fully customize the nozzle's shape, size, and angle to suit your specific needs. Hit the Customizer button to start designing, and experiment with different settings until you find a configuration that works for you. Keep in mind that axial computer fans prefer free airflow, so when building a duct for one, ensure the output hole is at least as large as the fan's airflow area (calculated by subtracting the hub diameter from the fan diameter). Failure to do so will lead to reversed air flow around the fan blades. For example, if you're designing a nozzle for a 40mm fan, make sure it has an outlet size of over 820 square millimeters. If you're working with a 100mm fan, aim for an outlet area greater than 5,200 square millimeters. When creating a vacuum cleaner attachment, simply set the base thickness to match your vacuum's tube and forget about adding mounting holes. You can secure the nozzle to your fan using screws or pins that align with pre-drilled holes – just remember to adjust the pin length to zero for screw-only installations. By the way, printing a fan duct in color-changing filament is an amazing idea – the color shifting effect adds a mesmerizing visual element as the device heats up!
