This is a Universal Charging Station with Quick Release feature (UCS-QR) designed specifically for phones that have their charging port at the bottom. It was created to meet the needs of phone owners who require a reliable and convenient way to charge and display their devices on the go. The UCS-QR accepts a range of mini USB cable sizes, making it compatible with various phone models. The inspiration behind this product came from my own frustration with existing universal phone holders on the market. I found them to be inadequate for several reasons: 1. They often rely on suction cups that fail to provide a secure grip in cold temperatures. 2. Flexible arms can cause the device to shake, making it difficult to interact with the screen or plug in charging cables. 3. Foam inserts can interfere with buttons, block speakers, and compromise sound quality. In contrast, my UCS-QR eliminates these issues: no suction cups, no shaky arms, and no foam! Simply adjust the station once to fit your phone's size, then easily drop it into place for secure hold and charging. The UCS-QR is not only versatile in terms of phone size acceptance but also adaptable to different surface shapes and directions. Its design allows for easy mounting on cars or desks, making it a convenient accessory for daily use. The Quick Release feature enables users to quickly adjust the up-down angle and side-to-side rotation by loosening and tightening a knob. This is made possible by the ball head joint in the design, which relies on friction for proper function. Users should note that lubricating or greasing the joint can compromise its performance. Initial configuration of the UCS-QR requires the following steps: 1. Loosen screws for side, front, and back supports. 2. Slide supports to their maximum positions. 3. Insert mini USB cable into its designated spot. 4. Place phone into USB port. 5. Slide supports until they are firm against the phone. 6. Remove phone from station. 7. Tighten screws for side, front, and back supports. With proper assembly, you'll be ready to enjoy the convenience of your UCS-QR!
