Universal Cantilevered Spool Holder for 3D printers

Our standard spool holder for 3D printers attaches the filament using a horizontal axis and is designed to suit various printer models due to its universal compatibility. The main parts for this holder can be printed in a single piece, without support structures, on a 3D printer with a build volume of 150 mm or larger. Several accessories and adaptors are also available to enhance the spool holder's compatibility with different printers. The holder features a symmetrical design, allowing for easy, supportless printing. It has two attachment depth steps to accommodate both thin-gauged and thick-gauged 3D printer cases. The spool holder axle consists of two halves held together by a lock fitting in the front and a butterfly joint at the rear. This innovative product was created by Tim Wahlström, in collaboration with the 3D team at CreativeTools.se, based in Sweden.
