Universal Belt Tensioner

Universal Belt Tensioner

thingiverse

The original Thing works with Protos X400 Printer but is versatile for any belt size. By adjusting the drive belt, you can enhance the Printing head's positioning mechanism. However, avoid over-tightening to prevent damage, and ensure proper placement to prevent crashes. Learn more about the creation process in German at http://www.3deee.ch/. The required belt dimensions are 10mm wide and 3mm thick. Assemble all three parts, insert a M5 nut into the main piece, secure the small press part between the belt and nut to protect it, attach the lid with M2.5 screws directly into small holes, and finally tighten the belt using a M5 grub screw.
