Universal Bearing Mount
thingiverse
This is an OpenSCAD file designed for creating a versatile bearing mount. Simply modify some variables to perfectly match your specific bearing and possibly adjust other settings (all commented) if you're working with an exceptionally large bearing for added structural integrity. All the variables can be adjusted through customizer, but keep in mind that measurements are usually in millimeters - this will depend on the slicer you use. There's a hole for an axle that's also customizable within the variables. The bearing should fit snugly. You might need to warm it up with a hair dryer to get it into place. On my Ender 3 using curia low quality settings, I found that adding 0.21mm to the outer diameter of a 7mm bearing gives me a secure fit. However, I still need to conduct more tests to determine if this is a fixed value for all bearing sizes or if it scales with size and changes based on print quality. If you're using this customizer today, I recommend doing test prints before moving forward with a batch of them. When I personally use these mounts, I fit as many bearings onto my bed at once as possible. Still, I always do a single print first to ensure the sizes are accurate.
