The Versatile Assistant\n\nThis is a versatile assistant or holder. It provides an extra hand to hold items in place, freeing up your hands for other tasks. \nIt can hold a flashlight to illuminate dark areas, such as using an LED light extension that can be powered by a phone charger. \nIt can also assist with soldering by holding multiple components in place while you work on them. \nThe assistant can even hold your phone so you can capture video of your 3D printer while performing other tasks simultaneously.\nOr, during hot summer days when your old ABS printer's extruder stepper motor is overheating, the Universal Arm can hold a fan in position to cool the motor and allow for printing.\nThe assistant can temporarily hold up data sheets and illuminate them for you. \nIt can also support temporary signs.\nThere is even an option for a dial indicator holder, making it easy to attach your dial indicator to non-ferromagnetic materials.\n\nThese examples illustrate just a few of the many possible uses for this versatile assistant. There are undoubtedly more applications that have not yet been considered.\n\nPlease refer to the photos to gain a better understanding of its capabilities.\nThe screen shots included with the files in parts_named.zip provide additional information, as some text may be cut off on the web page.\n\nNote that this assistant is not designed to hold extremely heavy objects. Its strength comes from the friction between the components, which can be affected by the surface texture and cleanliness of the materials involved.\nTo improve performance, it's recommended to clean and dry the surfaces before use.\nIf you have any questions or concerns about using this versatile assistant, feel free to ask for assistance.
