I'm recombining bruckj's original design found at thingiverse.com with the tinkercad version here https://tinkercad.com/things/4gdR7HQbQSL, it's roughly editable and functional. I used 25mm and 30mm bolts with lock nuts to secure the smooth rod and a single 4mm bolt for adjusting it just right. I've included a suggestion - search for a sturdy spring that fits, perhaps a pen spring isn't up to par but feel free to test and explore options.
