Universal adaptive filament spool (coil) holder (aluminum square tube 608 bearings M8 rod)
thingiverse
This versatile holder is perfect for any filament spool size. It's especially handy when using eco-friendly square cardboard coils. Just one meter of square tubing and a bit of filament are enough to create this spool holder. One side of the top rod holder has a rounded edge, allowing the nut to rotate and fit snugly into its groove. For very narrow coils, add another nut if necessary. I included two example cones (not part of this project), but you can use any cones available on the site. You'll need to print two identical cones with support materials. This design will likely be improved in the future, but it effectively serves its purpose as is. To make this holder, you'll need: * 2 DIN 6334 JHS nuts * 1 150 mm M8 rod * Bearings: 4 - 608 ZZ * Square Tube 15 mm: + 2 pieces, 150 mm long + 4 pieces, 100 mm long + 1 piece, 130 mm long (or substitute with lengths suitable for your needs) Don't forget to click the Like button.
