Universal 3D-printable flashlight stand
thingiverse
This 3D-printable stand relies on a ball-joint principle to hold commonly used flashlights, laser pointers, and USB microscopes with ease. To put together the stand requires just two rubber bands. The designed files are made to print seamlessly without support structures, making the process a breeze. Note that the base comes with small screw holes at the bottom where rubber feet or ring magnets can be attached for stability. By rotating the ball-joint and gliding the base across a tabletop, most ideal viewing angles can be achieved for directing light on workpieces.
