Universal 2U Cubesat
thingiverse
*** This is a remix of my 1U Cubesat, I have included extra files to make a 2U Version, assembly and printing is similar - please refer to the 1U Instructions if you haven't reviewed the previous design yet - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4096437 *** As CubeSats continue to gain popularity, an overwhelming number of 3d printable designs are now available. However, I found it challenging to integrate the most common CPU or MCU platforms available today - the Raspberry Pi or Arduino Uno. To overcome this limitation, I set out to design my own that does not require print supports, looks sleek and can accommodate different boards I regularly use. This 2U CubeSat is designed to be compatible with the 2U CubeSat standard developed by the California Polytechnic State University CubeSat Program. It features the same adaptor that allows Arduinos, Raspberry Pi's and PC104 boards to be installed. Additionally, a 2U Rasberry Pi Camera panel is supplied. Besides the 3d prints themselves, the following hardware is required: 40 M3 x 10mm Philip Head Screws 40 M3 Nuts At least 4 M3 Standoffs 4 M2 Screws and Threaded inserts for the Raspberry Pi Cam V2 Module Please refer to the instructions below on assembly, and selection of configuration.
