The United States of America (USA) is a federal republic that comprises 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions. Spanning an enormous 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2), the United States boasts an impressive population of over 325 million people, cementing its position as the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area and the third-most populous nation. The capital city is Washington, D.C., while New York City takes the title of largest city by population. A significant forty-eight states and the capital's federal district are situated in North America, nestled between Canada and Mexico. Approximately 17,440 polygons make up this model, crafted using a combination of 3 and 4 point polygons. To enhance visual clarity, different colors have been assigned to separate the states from one another. Additionally, individual sections for all 48 states and the Great Lakes have been included in this version. A crucial aspect of this model is its compatibility with mtl files, which your software program should be able to read and utilize to colorize the model. Basic UV mapping has been implemented, but please note that textures are not included with this model.
