United Nuclear offers a compact kit that showcases Diamagnetic Levitation with Bismuth slugs and magnets. I recently designed this simple setup using 3D printed parts, which replaced traditional penny spacers and wooden brackets. It utilizes an M3 Nut and long screw to hold everything together. Assembly is straightforward: insert the nut into the arm (heat it to melt) and then screw in the screw. Next, glue the large magnet into the cap, followed by attaching the screw to the top of the cap with glue. Finally, secure the arm into the base using a small amount of glue.
