Unistrut trolley bearing for a panel saw
thingiverse
Trolley bearing assembly suitable for unistrut length. Unsuccessful search for similar products in retail market. Available trolleys for superstrut are expensive and not suitable. DIY panel saw design utilizing this trolley bearing assembly has operated for over a year without sagging or deformation. If issues arise, another set will be printed rather than redesigning the assembly. 608 skateboard bearings are used in large quantities to provide durability. Unused bearings from fidget spinner purchases can find new life in this application. The rest of the assembly consists of 5/16"-18 bolts and nuts, purchased inexpensively in bulk from Tractor Supply. The length of these fasteners was estimated based on availability rather than precision measurement. Final parts were printed with PETG for long-term strength. PLA has been found to be inadequate for supporting heavy loads over time, making PETG a better choice for this design. Additional details about the design can be found in an imgur gallery posted last year: https://imgur.com/gallery/bHxAp
