Unique Pencil Holder
thingiverse
I'm fixin' to share with ya'll a one-of-a-kind pencil holder, perfect for teachers who need to keep their desks clutter-free. I designed this project with simplicity in mind, thinkin' about what's most useful for educators. Print Settings Rafts: Don't you worry 'bout it, just go ahead and print. Supports: Yes, they're necessary for the "ABC" and "123" on the front sides of the holder. How I Came Up with This Idea I figured teachers could use a pencil holder to keep their desks tidy. One thing that came to mind was a square-shaped holder – I'd never seen one before! So, I made a box and thought about how to make it more useful. That's when sticky notes popped into my head. Project: Unique Pencil Holder In this project, students will learn the basics of Autodesk Inventor. If you're new to CAD or teachin' a class, I recommend constructin' this pencil holder first. The skills you'll need to master are 2D sketching, extrudin', and creatin' arches. This is a great way to start your CAD journey, suitable for all ages and careers. It took me about an hour to complete, but I reckon it'd take no more than 50 minutes if you know what you're doin'. Before you begin, make sure you can create a 2D sketch and open a standard part file – if not, ask your mentor for help or search online. Once finished, print in any color you like and give the product to your mentor for evaluation. A perfect score means everything's aligned perfectly and it ain't lopsided!
