Audrey Luce's second prop for DIG4780C Assignment 5, a box designed to hold just the head of Nakano Takeko, a renowned Japanese female warrior who wielded the Naginata with deadly precision. Seriously wounded in battle, Nakano Takeko requested her head be severed from her body to prevent her enemies from desecrating her corpse. This box serves as a poignant representation of what her coffin might have looked like had she been buried during the intense fighting.
