A similar concept to the previous entry, yet this design features an outer channel without slots, reducing warping risks. Key aspects include a one-piece part file with four identical side panels. For top and bottom sections, rail features are suppressed while snap connector features are unsuppressed prior to 3D printing. This design also eliminates screws by incorporating snap connectors to demonstrate future potential of 3D printed fasteners. Slots for circuit board flex tabs are included to envision standoff removal. Inner posts have slots for a snug fit, with locking tabs as an additional option; deployment switches and separation springs further secure the posts. Inspired by V. Sawant's "3D Printable Hinge," this design utilizes a square cross-section for non-rotating applications and adds side shields to cover exposed corners. For a clearer understanding of panel assembly, refer to V. Sawant's hinge design.
