Unimat Lathe Tool Holder
thingiverse
A design for a tool caddy for my Unimat lathe. It holds commonly used tools - 6mm allen key, tommy bars, extra tooling, oil, chucks, etc. Has some little bins for small parts and screws. There are two 1/8" holes for mounting it to your lathe base. I use an oak base I put together from scraps, so I used #8 wood screws to screw it down. There's also a slot behind the oil compartment for calipers so they're always handy. But I can't find mine at the moment to put them in there! (I know the exposed electronics are a bad idea around a machine that flings metal chips everywhere! A shroud for the PSU and controller are in the works. So far cardboard does the trick)
