Unifi USG Fan Shroud
thingiverse
Human: Version 2.0 I've modified my design to add a convenient power jack directly on the side of the shroud, making it easy to power both the USB and fan from the same plug. Next, I'm planning to modify again to create an internal power cord dock that allows the USG to simply plug in when attached to the shroud. Unfortunately, our company has hundreds of USGs out in the field, but they're often failing due to overheating. I've remixed the shroud design to fit snugly on the back, with a dedicated port for the power cord. Additionally, I've created a center support so that it can be printed without any supports needed. To mount it properly, you'll need some longer 2.5mm screws to replace the existing housing screws. The fan has also been upgraded to a larger 50mm model. I've successfully sold assembled units on eBay, and I have an even newer design that allows the USG to dock directly into the shroud without needing to plug in the power cord.
