I needed to rest the access point on top of a piece of furniture but couldn't find anything I liked. So I decided to give it a try. For the mounting screws, I used the ones that came with the access point, which is why they are too long. I will see if I can replace them with something shorter and with a bolt at the back. I hope it holds up because the temperature this device reaches is high and I'm afraid it might make the PLA flexible and bend under its weight. Eventually I will add supports to stiffen it.
