Ubiquiti's new line of AC access points, announced in 2015 and shipped to us at least in January 2016, features a unique locking latch style for mounting brackets. However, this design presents a challenge as the hole is slightly larger than 1x5.5mm, leaving users without a clear solution for securing the device. To overcome this issue, I created my own tool after realizing that our access points did not come with a compatible tool. Due to the limited leverage provided by flat tools, the locking latch twists when pushed into place, requiring some practice to successfully pop it out. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 100% Notes: Printing at 100% infill is strongly recommended, as the access points are prone to breakage if not done correctly. However, even when broken, these devices can still be used effectively, and they do so in a controlled manner. The .1mm resolution may have been excessive, but I prioritized caution over potential savings. A raft was necessary due to the minimal contact between the device and the bed. I designed this tool using 123D Design's Loft feature, which enabled me to create the required tool with ease.
