Unidirectional Quick Overhang Test Part

Unidirectional Quick Overhang Test Part

A simple remix of the work by BuildX to create a quick and simple over hang test allowing multiple angles to be tested. This modification allows testing to be isolated to one direction to test overhang ability and account/test for differences in directional cooling. Additionally, I am a bit less conservative in my lower angle testing and have omitted angles below 45 degrees. I would have liked to have kept 40 as the lowest angle, but my TinkerCAD skills only go but so far.

This remix represents a 25% reduction in print time. (Compared to Original “Rounded” Overhang Test)

Quoted from the original work by BuildX:

https://www.printables.com/model/145122-quick-overhang-test-part-3-to-pick-from

Not only do many overhang tests take too long (I'm impatient), I find that they have a few other problems:

The features are often cantilevered out from other overhang objects so that the cantilever arm allows the printed cantilever to flex, which contributes to overhang print issues that are not due to the overhang itself. This one is a nice and short cantilever off of a vertical wall for each angle so you only look at the overhang itself.

Other's print overhang one angle setting at a time, so you have to wait and wait (and wait) for the problematic ones to print. This one tests 25-80 degrees (from vertical) all at the same time, so you see right away which angles are problematic, which allows you to stop the print early if you wanted.

I started the test angle at 25 degrees. The vast majority of filaments can handle overhangs less than 25 degrees (from vertical), so I figured it's not worth testing.
