This is an adapter I made for my Uniden radio. My battery stopped charging altogether so this was a better option than buying a new one. The USB cable connects to the car lighter and powers the device itself. All that remained was drilling a hole in the back cover and threading the cable through it, closing it up afterward. To make one like it, you'll need the printed part, two M4X10 screws, and a USB cable. Cut off the end of the cable and separate the wires, then wrap each one around its corresponding screw before tightening them down securely. Be aware that the original battery is 4.8V at 700mA while most standard USB transformers are 5 volts and 1000 milliamps,
