My wife wanted a unicorn horn for a project she was doing for her non-profit, and while the original version of this was pretty good she was going to need to glue it to a surface so wanted one with a solid base to be able to glue it better. So I spent a few minutes with the STL file in OpenSCAD and added a 1mm thick (the same thickness I believe as the tabs) to it for her.
