Unicorn Cookie Cutter with Spring for Easy Cutting I designed a spring-loaded cookie cutter using an old pen spring that makes cutting a breeze. To attach the spring to the cookie cutter, I melted the tip of a unicorn-shaped stick with a lighter and fused it securely into place. Butter Cookie Recipe: Beat Together: • 1/2 cup of butter • 1/2 cup of sugar Add and Beat: • 1 egg • 1 spoonful of milk • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract Combine: • 2 cups and 2 tablespoons of flour • 1 teaspoon of baking powder • 1/4 teaspoon of salt Roll out the dough on a floured board to a thickness of about 0.5 cm, then use the cookie cutters to create your desired shapes. For even better details, roll the dough out and refrigerate it for an hour before cutting. This will help the cookies retain their shape while baking. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
