Unicode Coins (Python 3)
thingiverse
We're currently developing an engaging lab exercise for my upcoming Python Training in Turtle Graphics. This will enable us to create +1 Unicode coins from any of the approximately 60,000 or so UTF-8 characters. This particular example showcases the CJK character for "Treasure," as well as the "On Windows" and "On Linux" glyphs (0x265A) for the occidental "King." Feel free to customize the glyph to your liking - and keep the updated design! Enjoy! Like most CURA picture imports, you'll want to adjust these down by -0.01 on the Z-axis before printing. Also note that the actual glyph displayed can vary depending on your Operating System - while the CJK glyphs appear consistent everywhere, a more ornate "King" comes from Python 3 running on Microsoft Windows, whereas a less ornate and more traditional glyph is displayed when using Ubuntu 16.x.
With this file you will be able to print Unicode Coins (Python 3) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Unicode Coins (Python 3).
