This lamp prints as one part, counting the included support inside the bottom section as two separate parts. Natural PET diffuses light and creates interesting interference patterns. To complete this project, you will need a snap-in socket with cord and switch, along with an LED light bulb to keep heat levels down. The STL file for this design includes a support cylinder that holds up the flat panel in the base. The flat panel features an elliptical hole for mounting the lamp socket. After printing, simply pop out the support to complete the project. This design was created specifically for Pittsburgh's Fun a Day event in 2017.
