A proposed concept for future cubesats involves a design featuring two structural units rather than multiple joined parts. The flat lid functions as a base for integrating the payload/stack, while a cube-shaped cover serves as the lid. This structure boasts fewer joints and consists of only 2 sides in a solid form, which act as both structural support and central axis. The remaining sides house holes enabling the cubesat to look down at Earth.
