General

I really like the look of the official Steam dock so I tried to get it as close as possible to the original one. The dock used in this build is the 8 port uniAccessories dock. I like this one because it looks very clean, is small, has a removable cable and has all the important ports at the back.

Following a sketch with the dimensions in mm and ports:

Bill of Materials

Printed parts

Union Pro | USB-C 8-in-1-Hub

90 Degree USB-C Cable 3.2 Gen2x2 20Gbps 100W

Print Instructions

The 3mf file has all the parts in the optimal orientation for printing. Its been designed to require no supports. Due to the flat angel of the overhang you need to set the layer hight to 0.15 or lower. Or else you do need supports there.

The materila shown in the pictures is ColorFabb XT-CF20

Assembly

Connect the 90 Degree Cable to the Dock and slide it into the main body. Put the cable in the slit of the IO-cover and close it with the little plate. Then allign the IO-Cover with the bottom of the main body and tilt it up to clip it in place.
