uni Nano Dia Pencil Lead Holder
thingiverse
This is an organization tray for some of my favorite pencil lead cases, specifically my uni Nano Dia cases. I created this design because I had a few issues with these cases. They are extremely smooth, which made them slide around in my drawer, often getting hidden under other objects or moving around on my desk whenever they were touched. Additionally, their shape made it difficult to stack and keep stacked. Therefore, I wanted a tray that would make the different leads easily accessible (mine are all different colors), prevent them from moving, and take up a smaller footprint than they otherwise could. Print Settings -------------- I used the following settings and materials for the print shown in the picture: I printed with ASA using a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer heights. The ASA was printed at 240C on a 100C glass bed with a light coating of acetone-ASA mixture applied to the surface. Layer cooling was included, with a fan speed driven by approximately 30% of the full 24 volts available for the fan. It was printed in an enclosed environment with air inside at approximately 24% humidity and 38C. The surface was scrubbed with a brass brush, giving the one in the photo a very matte exterior. License & Legal Disclaimer --------------------------- Note: I used the text "uni Nano Dia" to specify that the tray is for these types of lead cases since their shape is unique. I do not possess any specific license to use either "uni" or "Nano Dia", and their use is assumed to be the same as when showing the cases themselves, which also have this name printed (for specification and categorization purposes).
