Stone gorget lies unfinished on the Warren Wilson site (31Bn29) in Buncombe County, North Carolina. This relic dates back to the Woodland period, specifically the Swannanoa phase, spanning from 1000-300 BC. The stone gorget is crafted from fine-grained metamorphic rock. Its measurements reveal a length of 205.0 mm, a width of 100.9 mm, and a thickness of 19.7 mm. This artifact is cataloged as no. 2094a9508 within the North Carolina Archaeological Collection at the Research Laboratories of Archaeology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
