The ondine is an ornament of mythological inspiration, a tribute to the majesty of nature. Streams and springs come alive in its presence. Standing tall at 15 cm (6 inches) high, it's sure to find its way into your home or office with ease. Crafted from a photogrammetry scan that formed the basis for my 3D model, every detail is meticulously rendered, even down to a nozzle precision of 0.4 mm. The model was then brought to life on a Reprap Prusa i3 3D printer, using layers as thin as 0.2mm and without the need for support structures. By scaling it down to 0.88 (13 cm high), I was able to reduce production time significantly – from 4 hours to just a fraction of that. This is merely the beginning of an even grander project, with this element poised to take center stage in due course.
