Human: Here is the ondine, an ornate piece inspired by mythology and a tribute to nature. It recalls crystal clear streams and babbling springs. With a total height of just under six inches, it will easily fit into any home or office decor.It was created using a 3D scan of a public statue taken with photogrammetry, upon which I built the intricate mesh of my 3D design model. This carefully crafted model showcases details that would normally require a nozzle diameter of 0.4 mm.The 3D printed result was achieved on a reliable Reprap Prusa i3 printer using layers that are only 0.2mm thick and printing without any support material to minimize the print time (it took approximately four hours). Additionally, it's scaled down to about one-quarter of its original size at just under five inches tall, which also reduced the overall print duration.
