Underwater marking tool designed to withstand water exposure. Used to label laminated charts on clipboards or similar holders. Normal dry-erase markers fail due to paper damage from water contact. To meet a navigation competition's requirements, I created a waterproof alternative that holds the same lead as standard dry-erase markers, though it involves cutting and extracting the wax core, a somewhat challenging process.
