Underwater Glider Design
thingiverse
This hydrodynamic model showcases my underwater glider design, requiring only 20-25g of balance weight for surface to deep and deep to surface tests. It doubles up as an entertaining pool toy for kids, who played with it for hours after testing. Print all parts, including the wings, body, nose, and tail components using acetone bonding; use glider_fix.stl for a detachable body tube. Employ lead, small stones, or sand for balance weight adjustments. A glide video is forthcoming in the next few days.
