In 2009, renowned underwater filmmaker Andy Jackson of subseatv stumbled upon a WWII bomb while diving on an unknown shipwreck off Whitby. Initially pinpointed by the Imperial War Museum as a 500kg German Luftmine A (LMA) Mine Type D, crafted from high-grade aluminum alloy. Today, in 2017, advanced technology has been leveraged to recreate the scene in three dimensions, enabling users to engage with the original footage on a more immersive level.
