UBC's Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Team created a basic test platform in 2018, entered in RoboSub Competition. With only 4 actuators controlling its 6 degrees of freedom, gravity and buoyancy manage pitch and roll. Designed for open-source development, future years can test software and electronics on it. Blue Robotics provided two dry enclosures and four thrusters; custom-built camera enclosures completed the project.
