The scene before us is a shipwreck lying submerged beneath the waves of the ocean. A sunken boat, battered and worn, comes into view, accompanied by an oar that floats listlessly nearby. Schools of fish, ranging in size from small to large, dart through the surrounding waters, their movements causing ripples in the surface above. A massive coral reef rises up from the seafloor, its intricate structures a testament to the unforgiving yet beautiful forces that shape our underwater world. Scattered across the ocean floor are rocks and kelp, remnants of a bygone era that now provide a habitat for an array of marine life. This stunning diorama is inspired by the immersive gaming experience of Subnautica, where players find themselves stranded on a mysterious alien planet teeming with strange creatures and hidden wonders. I had the privilege of working on this project in my free time, pouring my heart and soul into bringing it to life over a period of two weeks. The end result is a testament to the power of creativity and dedication, boasting an impressive 7564 triangles that come together to form this breathtaking underwater world.
