Under-Shelf Caliper Holder
thingiverse
This is yet another variation of my under-shelf bracket. This one holds digital calipers sold under brands such as Pittsburgh and Neiko. I created this because I use my calipers frequently and got tired of constantly having to put them back in their case. The track on the front of the bracket is designed to hold the 16mm x 3mm ruler portion of those tools. To use it, simply angle the ruler into the upper part of the track, then push the lower part forward until you feel it click. When mounting to the underside of your shelf, make sure that the display and jaws of your caliper will clear the shelf as you angle the caliper into place. I made the mounting plate long enough that you have some flexibility in terms of how far forward to mount it.I printed this using 50% infill (for strength), with tree supports. I oriented the track perpendicular to the bed (i.e., vertically).
