So these fit my t-square great. You want to install them with the screw hole towards the back, and the flat part pointed towards the ground. (Hopefully that's obvious.) Don't tighten the screws too tight. You want to be able to move the a little this way you don't need to have the two hanger perfectly parallel with each other. Hopefully if all goes well your t-square will easily slide in and out of place
