Under Desk Cord Holder
myminifactory
With my computer securely positioned beneath my glass desk, I've encountered a persistent issue with my USB cords constantly dangling down and getting inadvertently crushed by the chair. The resulting damage is evident in the accompanying photographs. I have now addressed this problem by creating a solution that addresses it effectively. This design is specifically intended for use on a 3/8" (1.1 cm) diameter bar, but if you require a different size, you can easily create a copy of my design on Onshape.com and make the necessary adjustments to suit your needs. The current iteration is capable of holding three cords, however, additional capacity can be added with minimal effort. Furthermore, in the completed version available for download, there is an additional hole in the center of the clip that allows for the secure fastening of a Zip Tie if extra assurance is desired. Given that my prototype fits snugly, I have decided to stick with it.
