In a hotel stay, I encountered an innovative idea involving a motion-detecting light under the bed. This device illuminated only the floor upon movement, preventing partner disturbance. To replicate this at home, I utilized a battery-operated LED motion detection light and Mr. Beams MB722 stick-anywhere lights. The top shade may not be necessary if placed far enough beneath the bed for the mattress to act as a shield; I printed the required parts with 30% infill, ensuring adequate strength.
