Uncrustable Square
thingiverse
Edit: Reduced plastic usage in the latest model, now a noncrustable design. This creation came from measuring a cheap $1 loaf of bread to generate minimal waste compared to traditional circular sandwiches. You can recycle waste in the compost or feed it to your cat, whichever suits you best. A dash of sandwich science: A standard loaf measures 4"x4", I tailored this to 93mmx93mm (3.66") to trim crust efficiently, but be cautious when aligning for cuts and apply force when cutting. For older bread that might crack when sealing the sandwich, heat it in the microwave briefly. I recommend refrigerating PB&Js before devouring them for optimal flavor. Consult the printing guide for setup details. Instructions To get the best results, use 20% infill density, 1 exterior shell layer, and apply solid layers to the bottom and top surfaces while using detection mode for thin walls. If necessary, add more exterior shell layers to achieve your desired look.
