Unbreakable Pokeball
prusaprinters
A colleague at work asked me to print a Pokeball for his children that could be thrown on the floor without breaking.I found various Pokeballs here on Printables, but none that met the requirements. They were either balls with an opening mechanism or made of individual parts that had to be glued together.I therefore created my own Pokeball. It has to be printed from flexible material, such as TPU, because of the conical connectors, which would not be usable if printed from solid material. After printing, the individual parts can simply be plugged together to create a ball whose parts will not fall apart again. Don't print it, if you expect visual perfection! As you may know, TPU is not easy to print. Especially when supports are needed. Unfortunately, they are needed here and are somewhat more difficult to remove afterwards. This affects the quality a little. But for a throwing ball, the quality is sufficient in my opinion. My latest uploadsOver the last few weeks, I have created a few CAD models that have helped me here and there or given me pleasure.I have now uploaded some of them to Printables.
