Unbalanced Fidget Spinner & Finger Flipper

Unbalanced Fidget Spinner & Finger Flipper

thingiverse

I was surprised to find that Thingiverse lacked fidget spinners, so I decided to create one myself. It's always rewarding to design and build something from scratch. The unbalanced weighted spinner is a joy to spin in your hand. Since I enjoy it so much, I thought others might appreciate it too. As an added bonus, I designed a second finger flipper that can be spun around a finger. This design is similar to the motion you use when flipping open a carabiner on your keychain, which often annoys those around you. Before printing, make sure to set up your printer with the following settings: * Printer: Maker Select Plus * Rafts: No rafts needed * Supports: None required * Resolution: 0.2mm resolution for optimal print quality * Infill: Choose your desired level of heft; do you want a heavy or light spinner? After printing, insert standard 608 skate bearings into the spinner. For added protection and a more polished look, consider using these caps around the center bearing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1988435
