Unassembled Infinity Cube
thingiverse
Not every printer can print these cubes as print in place without having issues. So I took to the drawing board and started from scratch following the principles of most of the other various cubes on here that are print in place. My version lets you print each part in it's own color, make the cubes one color and the pins another, two tone, etc the color combos are endless. Another bonus is that each piece can be scaled down to be smaller for a one hand cube if need be. Just make sure to scale each part down to the same scale. The pins are designed to go in from each side and mostly pressure fit in. A drop of super glue may be necessary. I hope you all enjoy this cube as much as I had fun making it. I am not the original creator of this type of cube, this is just my vision of it. I am excited to see the various combinations and prints the community can make. You may end up with a small hole within the area the linkage goes into. This does not effect the operation of the cube and is not visible once assembled. Enjoy. Recommendations: Cubes and linkage at 20% infill Pins at 100% infill I used a brim and supports at 10% infill on the supports you will need to make 4 right cubes, 4 left cubes, 8 linkages, and 32 pins.
